It has almost become the trend of the 21st century; companies are increasingly hiring coaches to help mentor their aspiring, promising and existing executives. Most of this personnel that renders biotech presentation coaching as a service are lawyers, former athletes, business academics, consultants and psychologists. And due to lack of training on their part, most of these do more harm than good in carrying out their tasks.

There s a lot that is changing in the world as we progress into the future, the advent of technology threatens even the most rigid of processes with automation. Artificial intelligence and machine learning have gone as far as learning attributes exclusive to living beings such as reasoning, this then says they in the not so distant future could be helping you build up mental prowess and focus.

There s no one solution for all problems, you can teach executive techniques for managing people perhaps because the person is often embroiled in controversies with fellow employees, yet the problem if properly diagnosed might have to do with the person s character than ways of communicating with people. Thus applying managerial techniques than dealing with the person s character becomes a flawed approach.

The conventional modus operandi for coaches has been solely relying on behavioral solutions, and for some just simply appearing as providers of simple answers and quick results is their focus, this is common among coaches that hail from the world of sports.

Being unschooled in the dynamics of psychotherapy these coaches commonly exploit their potent hold on their clients, offering easy solutions while ignoring the deep-rooted psychological problem that psychotherapy can fix. There s a lure for easy answers which has resulted in the rise of this form of coaching in the business world.

It is said all presentation coaching is really an acceptable form of psychotherapy. It s not easy to say I m going to see my therapist, because it makes it seem like you have a problem, but it s easy to say I m getting counseling as if you are simply getting trained. The idea that this coaching can help employees develop production quickly is a great business to businesses.

Yet there s oversight in that view, there is usually unconscious conflict employees might have that this strategy favors to gloss over and in the long run the problem gets exacerbated because the psychological damage wasn t resolved to begin with. Inherently this will affect the company in that productivity of the employee will be affected.
