Yes, you don't necessarily have to be in the same room as the certified healer. Such is highly convenient most especially if you cannot go outside your home due to a physical injury or there is no trained healer residing anywhere in your city. You need to be in a position that's comfy. Feel free to choose between being on your back or simply reclined. What matters is that you are able to stay in your chosen position throughout a session. Regardless if you prefer to be on the floor, a lounge chair or in your bed, ensure that you are completely relaxed and comfortable.

Opt for loose fitting clothes. Unlike during a full body massage, there is no need for you to be naked. However in some situations a patient like you needs to be undressed if the certified healer is also a massage therapist. Since the session is carried out remotely, removing your clothes is unnecessary. However, see to it that your clothes are very comfortable. Loose fitting ones that won't keep you from attaining complete relaxation are highly recommended.

Devote an hour of your time. A session usually lasts up to an hour. However, at times it may be 90 minutes long. Whether the treatment will last for 60 or 90 minutes, ensure that you fully commit your time and energy to the healing session.

No talking necessary. You'll be happy to learn that opening your mouth is not really a prerequisite. This is actually an advantage as it enables you to focus on nothing but your complete relaxation and healing. Even when undergoing a session wherein the trained healer in the room, talking is not usually necessary.

Go ahead and play music in the background. To attain utmost calmness, feel free to have some music playing. Check that the songs on the play list are all soothing ones. Instrumental songs are highly recommended. You may also play some calming nature sounds instead.

Falling asleep is entirely normal. Most of those who undergo a treatment can't help but doze off. It's a proof that the treatment is taking effect. If during your healing session you feel like taking a trip to dreamland, don't try to stay awake. You can still obtain the wide array of perks even if you are snoring.

Have a light snack an hour before a treatment. Because feeling completely relaxed is important, refrain from having a large meal prior to the session. Having a tummy ache will certainly keep you from focusing on healing. Approximately an hour before your treatment session commences, go for a light snack that's healthy. Greasy and sugary treats as well as caffeinated beverages should be avoided.
