Coward Baptist Church Follows The Bible

By Michael Ward

Righteousness exalts a nation. On the other hand, sin is a reproach to any people. The Bible preaches about righteousness, justice and peace. This is exactly what is preached in a Coward Baptist church due to the fact that it is a Bible-believing church. America as a nation was founded on Bible principles. The founding fathers were all Christians. Christianity has spread to all the four corners of the world. It is the most popular religion on earth. Actually, it advocates morality. A nation can only succeed when morality rules the day and not immorality.

Christianity has had a very long history. It all started in Jerusalem, Israel and then the good message reached Europe and the Catholic Church was eventually formed. Most people of the Roman Empire ended up converting to Catholicism. After some centuries of Catholicism, Reformation took place and the Protestant faith started. Eventually, Protestant churches such as Baptist, Lutheran, Anglican, Episcopal among others were formed.

Baptist believers just like other Christians usually follow the Bible. They believe that the Bible is the ultimate reference of the Christian. A true believer knows that there is no book on earth that is superior to the Holy Bible. That is due to the fact that it is the inspired word and it is 100% true. The Bible never lies.

The Holy Bible is not a new book. As a matter of fact, it is the oldest book on earth. Up to today, useful manuscripts are still being unearthed in places like the Red Sea. The scripture is very steadfast and it is a rock that can never and will never be shaken. It is always true and never fails.

According to Scripture, one has to be born again. It is not about being born again in a physical sense but rather in a spiritual sense. That means that one has to undergo baptism. As a matter of fact, the Baptists believe in baptism. This involves total immersion into water. The baptism activity can take place in a river or lake.

It is the age of grace. However, grace will not last forever. Baptists believe on such lofty Biblical issues such as grace and baptism. They also believe in the repentance of sin and the subsequent turning way from sin and leading a holy life. Every man is a sinner by birth. However, forgiveness of sin and salvation are free.

The Bible says that whenever more than two believers are gathered together, there is a blessing there. That is exactly what Baptists do every Sunday. A true believer should make a point of always attending service. There are blessings that can only be obtained during the service. Also, the sermon from the pastor will greatly uplift an individual.

The body is just but one part of the human existence. At the end of it all, the body will perish and the spirit will remain and go to a special place. That is why it is important to prioritize spiritual matters. One must never take his Christianity for granted but should work tirelessly to build his faith.
