The Way Thoughts Influence Nerves

The fact that our physical parts are affected by our thoughts and emotions means that the medical industry is supposed to look into both. For example, if you are having depressing thoughts, your blood pressure may rise or fall. This means you should see both a medical doctor and psychologist in order to recover. The article explains thoughts influence nerves on a deeper level.

Although our bodies have always proven to us that the physical part of us is connected to the emotional part, people still ignore this fact and is vividly showing in different ways of life. Most physical reactions are triggered by our emotions. Try and picture when you were in front of a panel, or you met someone who you really liked. You are bound to have sweaty palms and shake among other things which shows well that fact.

Although you may agree that most physical states are influenced by emotions, it may not seem to be the case in other states while in fact, it is. Although understanding the relationship between the emotional and physical parts of our bodies do not automatically cure us, it helps us be in the lime light. We are able to understand the cause of different things in our lives.

Different emotions bring out different physical reactions. For example, when you are in traffic or a child keeps throwing things expecting you to fetch it, you may get frustrated or annoyed. You are bound to take short and faster breaths. Your shoulder and stomach muscles may also tighten involuntarily as a way of expressing the emotion.

At the time you can get really frustrated or really annoyed depending on what is going on. You may be stuck in traffic for hours which will lead to frustration. Someone may keep interrupting you which may annoy you. You may react the same way towards both. You may express yourself loudly while waving your hands around.

Anger is another emotion that brews different reactions. For example, if someone is angry with you, you will apologize to them and try to make things right. When you are angry, you may bottle it up, and it may result in headaches and other body pains. There are many ways of releasing anger, talking, writing or even involving yourself in activities that will tire you out.

The things that we have seen or experienced in the past also have an effect. These are the memories that we carry around with others. The reaction to good memories and bad ones are completely different. A happy memory will make you happy, and it will be evident as you will smile or laugh. A bad memory, on the other hand, may cause you to sweat a loot or even cry.

When we have fallen sick in the past, we may be affected by it. Some experiences are so painful that every time you remember you cannot help but shed a tear or two. You may also imagine the pain in the place you were hurt which is completely normal until you learn how to deal with it.
